In the past few weeks my rainmeter skins have been virus infested and redistributed around the web and on deviantArt. I just like everyone to know this. Only download my skins (and any other skin for that matter) from a secure source. Like Customize.org or similar sites or the artist/designers deviantArt site or personal site.

If you come across my skins on deviantArt and no changes have been made to description and screenshot and espacially the downloadable content within then report and refer to this journal entry.

I personally go through all request to redistribute my skins. And I only accept a handful of those.
The rules I have for redistribution is:

Only allowed when:
- Adding new content and features.
- Changing the content enough for a distinguishable comparison can be made with the original submission.
- Linking to my original submission.
- Crediting me by linking to my deviantArt page.

All accoring to 'Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 License'.


On another subject.

Just because I dont develope and make new skins for rainmeter does not mean I've stopped caring about what people do to and with my work. I plan to get into the customizing community again at a later unspecified date.

That why I ask people to respect my rules of use. I dont like to make my work into a copyright entanglement, it should be easy to use and enhance for everyone.

So enjoy the skins and send me a note or comment if you have questions.
